The first hearing of Middle Eastern Technical University (METU) students who are charged with "insulting the president" due to a banner they carried during their graduation ceremony in July, will be held at Ankara 11. Court of First Instance.

Hearing of academic İbrahim Kaboğlu, will be held at İstanbul 36. High Criminal Court at 11:00 AM. Kaboğlu is charged with "terrorist propaganda" due to his participation in the peace petition titled "We will not be a party to this crime" criticizing the state’s military involvement in the predominantly Kurdish populated cities. The petition was launched by Academics for Peace Initiative.

Keskin is charged with "terrorist propaganda" due to his participation in the peace petition titled "We will not be a party to this crime" criticizing the state’s military involvement in the predominantly Kurdish populated cities.
