Jailed since being taken into custody in the police operation against the Journalists and Writers Foundation (GYV), Mehmet Gündem will be on trial at İstanbul 35. High Criminal Court. Gündem is charged with ‘membership in a terrorist organization’.

Hearing of journalists Tunca Öğreten, Mahir Kanaat, Derya Okatan, Ömer Çelik, Eray Sargın and Metin Yoksu, also known as the RedHack Trial will be held at İstanbul 29. High Criminal Court at 09:30 AM. Journalists are charged with ‘terrorist propaganda’, ‘membership in a terrorist organization’, ‘blocking the informatics system’ and ‘wiping data out’.
January 10, Thursday

Seventh hearing of 27 Etkin News Agency (ETHA) journalists, including editor and translator Meşale Tolu, will be held at İstanbul 29. High Criminal Court at 10:00 AM.

13th hearing of 46 journalists, also known as the KCK Press Trial will be held at İstanbul 3. High Criminal Court. Journalists are charged with ‘terrorists propaganda’ and ‘membership in a terrorist organization’.
