Sözcü Trial: Hearing of Buray Abay, Gökmen Ulu, Mediha Olgun and Yonca Yücekaleli will be held at 09:50 AM at İstanbul 37. High Criminal Court. Journalists are charged with ‘founding and leading a terrorist organization’, ‘terrorist propaganda’ and ‘committing a crime on behalf of a terrorist organization whilst not being a member’.

Fifth hearing of Amnesty Turkey Honorary Chair Taner Kılıç will be held at 10:00 AM at İstanbul 35. High Criminal Court. Kılıç is accused of ‘membership in a terrorist organization’ and ‘committing a crime on behalf of a terrorist organization without being a member’.

Hearing of managing editor of Evrensel newspaper Çağrı Sarı and Evrensel cartoonist Sefer Selvi will be held at İstanbul 29. Court of First Instance. A lawsuit about the journalists was filed, charging them with ‘attack on personal rights’ and ‘defamation’ due to a complaint made by the then-Prime-Minister Binali Yıldırım after a cartoon was published about the Paradise Papers in Evrensel daily.
