January 27, Monday
10:00 AM - The third hearing of the trial involving eight individuals detained during a police intervention in the election campaign of the Socialist Laborers Party Chairperson Güneş Gümüş before the general elections will take place at Ankara 38th Criminal Court of First Instance.
10:30 AM - The eighth hearing of the "Charlie Hebdo" case, the first in which foreign journalists have been prosecuted for “insulting the president,” will be held at Ankara 2nd Criminal Court of First Instance.
11:00 AM - The second hearing of the trial against Şebnem Korur Fincancı, a member of the TİHV Board of Directors and former president, on charges of “insulting the Turkish Nation, the State of the Turkish Republic, the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, the Government, and the judiciary,” as per Article 301 of the Turkish Penal Code, will be held at Istanbul 31st Criminal Court of First Instance.
January 28, Tuesday
9:10 AM - The seventh hearing of the trial against Sofya Alağaş, prosecuted for her reporting while serving as the News Director of JIN NEWS, will be held at Diyarbakır 5th High Criminal Court.
10:25 AM - The second hearing of the compensation case filed by international security company SADAT against Evrensel newspaper for allegedly violating the personal rights of its founder, Adnan Tanrıverdi, through an article published in 2021, will take place at Bakırköy 4th Commercial Court of First Instance.
10:55 AM - The eighth hearing of the trial against Gülsüm Elvan and Sami Elvan, the parents of Berkin Elvan, who was killed by the police during the Gezi Park protests, charged with “insulting the president,” will be held at Istanbul 43rd Criminal Court of First Instance.
January 29, Wednesday
9:43 AM - The first hearing of the trial against journalist Şehriban Aslan and two individuals allegedly connected to her, charged with “violating the privacy of private life” due to a report published in Jinnews regarding the misuse of vehicles at the Diyarbakır Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services, will be held at Diyarbakır 16th Criminal Court of First Instance.
11:15 AM - The trial concerning journalist İdris Yılmaz, whose camera was broken during news coverage, where Yılmaz is listed as the complainant, will be held at Erciş 2nd Criminal Court of First Instance.
1:30 PM - The seventh hearing of the retrial of journalist Hayri Demir, charged with “membership in a terrorist organization” and “propaganda for a terrorist organization” for his journalistic activities in Syria, will be held at Ankara 15th High Criminal Court.
2:00 PM - The third hearing of the trial against Sultan Eylem Keleş, represented by MLSA, charged with “insulting the president,” which returned following a violation ruling from the Constitutional Court, will take place at Izmir 2nd Criminal Court of First Instance.
January 30, Thursday
9:00 AM - The sixth hearing of the trial against Mezopotamya Agency (MA) correspondent Mehmet Şah Oruç, who was detained for six months on charges of “membership in a terrorist organization” and “propaganda for a terrorist organization,” citing his journalistic activities and statements from a secret witness, will be held at Bitlis 2nd High Criminal Court.
9:25 AM - The sixth hearing of the trial against Hakkı Boltan, DİSK Press-Work Union Diyarbakır Regional Representative and Yeni Yaşam newspaper correspondent, charged with “insulting the president” and “insulting a public official,” will be held at Diyarbakır 12th Criminal Court of First Instance.
9:30 AM - The 12th hearing of the trial against Şebnem Korur Fincancı, writer Ahmet Nesin, and RSF Turkey Representative Erol Önderoğlu, represented by MLSA, for their participation in the Özgür Gündem newspaper’s “Editor-in-Chief on Watch” campaign, will be held at Istanbul 13th High Criminal Court.
9:40 AM - The sixth hearing of the trial against Mezopotamya Agency (MA) editor Abdurrahman Gök, charged with “membership in a terrorist organization” and “propaganda for a terrorist organization,” will be held at Diyarbakır 5th High Criminal Court.
9:35 AM - The trial against journalist Abdullah Kaya, represented by MLSA, charged with “aiding a terrorist organization” and “terrorist propaganda,” will take place at Ağrı 2nd High Criminal Court.
January 31, Friday
10:00 AM - The third hearing of the trial against detained lawyer Dilek Ekmekçi, charged with “membership in a terrorist organization,” will be held at Istanbul 24th High Criminal Court.
