An Ankara court has decided to merge the Media and Law Studies Association's (MLSA) lawsuit challenging the access ban on Instagram with other related cases.
The Ankara Regional Administrative Court's 7th Administrative Litigation Chamber has decided to merge the Media and Law Studies Association's (MLSA) lawsuit seeking to overturn the access ban on Instagram with six other related cases.
The court noted that six additional lawsuits had been filed challenging the August 2 access ban, and that MLSA's case was connected to these and could influence the outcomes of the others.
On August 14, the court ruled to combine MLSA’s lawsuit with the other six cases. The merged cases will now be heard together at the Ankara 7th Administrative Court.
