Turkey’s Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK) on Jan. 24 blocked access to the internet website of the news website jinnews.com.tr
The authority imposed the access ban based on a news report that suggested that the National Intelligence Agency (MİT) might have been involved in the 2013 murder of three Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in Paris.
Jinnews is a pro-Kurdish website that prioritizes reporting by women journalists.
The website can now be reached at www.jinnews1.com by Turkish users.
