June 10, Monday
10:00 AM – The trial of three police officers, one of whom was a detention center chief at the time, accused of “torture and ill-treatment” and facing 3 to 12 years in prison for subjecting architect Mücella Yapıcı, a spokesperson for Taksim Solidarity, and her daughter Cansu Yapıcı to a strip search, will continue at the Istanbul 11th High Criminal Court.
June 11, Tuesday
09:00 AM – The fourth trial hearing against journalist Sofya Alağaş on “membership in an organization” will be held at the Diyarbakır 5th High Criminal Court.
09:30 AM – The fourth hearing of the trial against Mezopotamya Agency (MA) editor Abdurrahman Gök, charged with “membership in an organization” and “making propaganda for an organization,” will be held at the Diyarbakır 5th High Criminal Court. MLSA's Legal Unit is supporting Gök’s defense.
11:00 AM – The trial of Danish journalist Mads Anneberg, defended by MLSA, charged with “entering a military forbidden zone,” will be held at the Edirne 2nd Criminal Court of First Instance.
June 12, Wednesday
10:05 AM – The trial of 11 public officials and the hitman Ogün Samast, who was convicted in connection with the assassination of Hrant Dink, Editor-in-Chief of Agos newspaper, and are now facing charges of “violating the constitution,” will be held at the Istanbul 14th High Criminal Court.
10:00 AM – The 11th hearing of the trial related to the murder of former Diyarbakır Bar Association President Tahir Elçi will be held at the Diyarbakır 10th High Criminal Court.
June 13, Thursday
09:10 AM – The fourth hearing of the trial against Dicle Fırat Journalists Association (DFG) Co-chair and Mezopotamya News Agency (MA) editor Dicle Müftüoğlu, charged with “establishing and managing an organization” and “membership in an organization,” will be held at the Diyarbakır 5th High Criminal Court.
09:45 AM – The fourth hearing of the moral compensation case filed by President Erdoğan’s former lawyer Mustafa Doğan İnal against Furkan Karabay, seeking 100,000 TL, will be held at the Istanbul 33rd Civil Court of First Instance.
09:50 AM – The third hearing of the trial against journalists Pınar Gayıp, Eylem Nazlıer, Yadigâr Aygün, Serpil Ünal, Esra Soybir, and Zeynep Kuray, who is defended by MLSA, charged with “participating in unlawful meetings and demonstrations without arms and failing to disperse despite warning” after being detained while attempting to make a press statement in Kadıköy, will be held at the Istanbul Anadolu 22nd Criminal Court of First Instance.
10:00 AM – The 23rd hearing of the trial known to the public as the “KCK Academy” case, in which Democratic Modernity magazine editor journalist Haydar Ergül and 15 former members of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) are being tried, will be held at the Istanbul 22nd High Criminal Court.
10:00 AM – The fifth hearing of the trial against İzel Sezer, Editor-in-Chief of İleri Haber, and Batuhan Batan, Managing Editor, charged with “insulting” and “slander” against President Erdoğan’s former lawyer Mustafa Doğan İnal based on his complaint, will be held at the Istanbul 25th Criminal Court of First Instance.
10:20 AM – The tenth hearing of the compensation case filed by Berat Albayrak, the son-in-law of President Erdoğan and former Minister of Treasury and Finance, against journalist Hazal Ocak for her article titled "The Son-in-Law Knows His Business" published in Cumhuriyet newspaper, will be held at the Istanbul 33rd Civil Court of First Instance.
