Monday, November 4
11:00 AM – The trial of Charlie Hebdo, the first foreign media outlet to be prosecuted for “insulting the president,” will continue at the Ankara 2nd Criminal Court of First Instance.
Tuesday, November 5
09:35 AM – Journalist Sinan Aygül will continue to be retried at the Bitlis 2nd High Criminal Court in the 'Bitlis KCK' case on the "membership in a terrorist organization." This case, involving more than 30 defendants, has been ongoing for about eight years. Aygül had been imprisoned for two years after his arrest in 2011, and the Court of Cassation overturned his 10-year sentence.
10:00 AM – The trial of five members of Halkevleri who were detained while attempting to protest in front of the AKP building on the charge of “insulting the president” will take place at the Ankara 68th Criminal Court of First Instance.
10:00 AM – The retrial of journalist Delal Akyüz, represented by MLSA, for the charge of "knowingly and willingly aiding a terrorist organization," will continue at the Izmir 20th High Criminal Court after the Court of Cassation overturned the previous judgment.
10:30 AM – The second hearing of the case against journalist Furkan Karabay for "insult" and "defamation" upon complaint by former President Erdoğan's lawyer Mustafa Doğan İnal will be held at the Istanbul 5th Criminal Court of First Instance.
12:00 PM – The trial against sociologist-writer Veli Saçılık, based on social media posts about the February 6 earthquakes, under the ‘Censorship Law’, will take place at the Ankara 10th Criminal Court of First Instance.
02:00 PM – The fifth hearing of the case against artist İlyas Salman for "insulting the president," based on remarks made during an interview, will be held at the Istanbul 2nd Criminal Court of First Instance.
Thursday, November 7
09:15 AM – The fourth hearing of the case against journalist Ali Duran Topuz for "targeting individuals involved in combating terrorism" will be held at the Diyarbakır 5th High Criminal Court.
09:40 AM – The trial of Danish journalist Mads Anneberg, represented by MLSA, for allegedly "entering a military restricted area" while reporting will be held at the Edirne 2nd Criminal Court of First Instance.
10:00 AM – The fifth hearing of journalist Sedef Kabaş’s trial for "insulting the president" will take place at the Istanbul Anadolu 2nd Criminal Court of First Instance.
10:20 AM – The 24th hearing of the case against journalist Can Dündar and Özgür Gündem’s Editor-in-Chief İnan Kızılkaya for "insulting a public official" will take place at the Istanbul 2nd Criminal Court of First Instance.
10:40 AM – The fourth hearing of the case against documentary filmmaker Sibel Tekin, who is charged with "making terrorist propaganda" and "violating the right to work," for following a protest at the NTV Ankara Bureau nine years ago will take place at the Ankara 2nd High Criminal Court.
10:50 AM – The trial of seven students detained during a tent protest against the housing issues of the Yurtsuzlar under the charges of “violating the Law on Meetings and Demonstrations” and “resisting to prevent duty” will continue at the Ankara 37th Criminal Court of First Instance.
11:15 AM – The 13th hearing of the case against journalists Ersin Çaksu and Aziz Oruç (represented by MLSA) for "publicly degrading the Republic of Turkey, its government, judicial institutions, and military and security forces" will take place at the Istanbul 2nd Criminal Court of First Instance.
01:40 PM – The sixth hearing of the case against Ramazan Yurttapan, Editor-in-Chief of Democratic Modernity Magazine, and Haydar Ergül, the magazine's editor, for "insulting the president" will be held at the Istanbul 2nd Criminal Court of First Instance.
01:45 PM – The eighth hearing of the case against journalist Baransel Ağca for "insulting the president" will be held at the Istanbul 2nd Criminal Court of First Instance.
