This week, the hearings of journalism and freedom of expression cases filed on various charges will be held.
This week Abdurrahman Gök will face the judge again in the case that led to his 225-day detention. The retrial of three police officers who attempted to handcuff journalist Beyza Kural behind her back and detain her while she was following a news report will also be held this week.

10.15 - The fifth hearing of the case filed against journalist-writer Ercan Aktaş, defended by MLSA, due to "making illegal organization propaganda" will be held at Istanbul 23rd High Criminal Court.

09.45 – The third hearing of the case against Mesopotamia Agency (MA) editor Abdurrahman Gök, who was arrested for 225 days for "being a member of an illegal organization" and "making propaganda for an illegal organization" due to his news reports, will be held at Diyarbakır 5th High Criminal Court. MLSA Legal Unit is supporting Abdurrahman Gök's defense.

09.45 - The trial of Danish journalist Mads Anneberg on charges of "entering a military restricted zone" will be held at Edirne 2nd Criminal Court of First Instance.

09.50 – The retrial of the case against journalist Mehmet Salih Turan, who was charged with "making terrorist organization propaganda" due to the tweets he shared and whose rights were violated by the Constitutional Court, will begin at Istanbul 32nd High Criminal Court.
